AAMBROTSAVE institutes Social Online
To engage with our youth AAMBROTSAVE presents an online virtual cultural clothing contest spread over a year. The idea being to motivate everyone and especially the youth of India to at least wear Indian clothing on 24-30 days out of 365 days of an year.
The contest requires participants to upload 24-30 selfies in any regional attire. After 11 months of posting selfies, in the 12th month the jury will come into action to review the entries and three males and three females from each category would be selected by an eminent jury from all walks of life. The contest requires online registration at a nominal payment of Rs - 275.
Television celebrities Rajeev Makhni and Rannvijay Singh will kickstart Aambrotsave Social on 17th October 2015 at 8.30 pm!
Participants will be required to upload photographs/selfies in traditional Indian clothes on 24-30 unique occasions. Traditional Indian clothes will include but are not limited to; women - sari, salwar - kameez, churidaar - kurta, lehenga, chania - choli, shawl, lungi, cloaks, and traditional sarong/skirt - blouse.
Men - kurta-pyjama, churidar-kurta, sherwani,bandhgala, Nehru jackets, bandhgala, dhoti, lungi.
Ten best entries will win grand prizes, which include: gold jewelry, electronics, apparel and get an invitation to participate in a fashion show organized by the Aambra Foundation in AAMBROTSAVE 2016.
The Foundation will launch Social Online! during Aambrotsave 2015, on the 17th of October, 8:30pm, at Civil Services Officers’ Institute, Vinay Marg, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi.
